How many roller coasters are there at Canada's Wonderland?

Author: ctpb

Canada’s Wonderland is an amusement park located north of Toronto.  There are over 200 attractions and more than 60 rides as well as a 20-acre water park.   Owned and operated by Paramount Canada’s Wonderland has become Canada’s answer to Universal Studios, Disneyland, and Six Flags all in one.  Of course Canada’s Wonderland is much smaller than those places, but so is Canada in terms of population.

Just how many roller coasters are at Canada’s Wonderland depends on what you consider a roller coaster.  There is something called the Drop Zone in which riders are lifted 230 feet into the air in a chair, similar to a roller coaster seat, then dropped.  It’s not really rolling like a typical roller coaster, so does it count.  There are also kid’s roller coasters, do they count?

There are 17 ‘thrill rides’ which include all more than just plain old roller coasters, and of those 17 rides there are 8 classic coasters.  You may want to include such rides as Thunder Run as well, which is a slower paced roller coaster.

This link will show you just what Canada’s Wonderland has to offer.
