If Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil are having some kind of tiff they are keeping it well guarded. It is true that Oprah didn’t attend Dr. Phil’s son’s wedding, but that could have just been because he married a Playboy bunny, or perhaps Oprah was just out of town and called later that night to see if the newlyweds were making out ok.
Of course if Oprah and Phil did have some kind of falling out, it would be covered up by them and their agents as best as humanly possible. Both Oprah and Phil are noted relationship experts; imagine if they couldn't maintain a relationship!
Oprah Winfrey hired Phil McGraw in 1996 as her lawyer in the Amarillo Texas beef trial. She was impressed by Dr. Phil and after the case finished (in Oprah’s favour) she hired Phil to appear on her show. Soon enough he was a weekly cog in the show as a “Relationship and Life Strategy Expert”, nice title!
