How do you get chicken to not dry out while cooking in a slow cooker?

Author: ctpb

Slow cooking retains most of the moisture in foods. There should always be some form of liquid used, and the pot should never become dry.  Make sure the lid is kept on at all times.  Chicken is best cooked on low but can be cooked for a shorter period on high, although this may cause the chicken to overcook and become dry.  Do not remove the cover unnecessarily.  Stirring is not necessary when slow cooking.  However, if cooking on High you may want to stir occasionally.

Everybody likes food.
